Terms of use

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This is a template and should be reviewed by a solicitor before you rely on it, particularly the liability, refund, and governing-law sections.

Who can use AceEleven

AceEleven is intended for use by a parent or legal guardian, on behalf of their own child or children. You must be at least 18 to create an account. Children do not hold accounts themselves and access the service only through a parent’s account and supervision.

What AceEleven is (and isn't)

AceEleven provides AI-generated feedback on 11+ practice essays and (once released) gamified spelling practice, modelled on publicly available 11+ mark schemes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a guarantee of entry to any school or exam board, and feedback scores are indicative only — they are not an official assessment and should not be the sole basis for decisions about a child’s exam readiness.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account, including essays submitted and credits spent. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

Credits, subscriptions and payment

Essay analysis is metered using credits. Free accounts receive a one-off signup bonus; pay-as-you-go credits are purchased in blocks and do not expire; monthly plan credits renew each billing period and do not roll over — unused monthly credits are forfeited at the end of the period, as described on the pricing page.

The monthly plan renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; you’ll keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. See our fulfilment policy for full detail on billing, cancellation and refunds.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of essays and other content submitted through your account. By submitting it, you grant us a licence to process it (including sending it to our AI providers) solely to provide you with feedback and to store it as part of your account’s history. You confirm you have the right to submit this content on behalf of your child.

Don’t submit content that is unlawful, contains someone else’s personal data beyond your own family’s, or infringes another person’s rights.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to circumvent credit metering, resell access to the service, scrape or bulk-extract content, or use the service in a way that could harm other users or the service itself.

AI-generated feedback — limitations

Feedback, scores, and technique detection are generated by third-party AI models and, like any AI output, can occasionally be inaccurate, inconsistent, or miss context a human marker would catch. Use it as a guide alongside your own judgement and, where it matters, a teacher’s input.

Availability

We aim to keep AceEleven available and responsive, but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access — third-party AI providers occasionally rate-limit or experience outages, and we may need to carry out maintenance from time to time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AceEleven is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those implied by law, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for exam outcomes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time; we can suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, misuse of the service, or non-payment.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; we’ll notify account holders of material changes by email before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
